The neighborhood
A bagel counter in Streeterville
Our Magnificent Mile shop opened in 2023 at 162 E Superior St, in Streeterville, the neighborhood east of Michigan Avenue between the river and Oak Street. Order at the counter under the Hand Rolled Daily neon, or ahead online, and grab a booth under the tin ceiling if you want to stay.
We open at 6:30 a.m. every day, earlier than any other Gotham, which suits the people around us: hospital staff and visitors at Northwestern Memorial and Lurie Children's, hotel guests from The Peninsula half a block west, shoppers on the Mag Mile and office teams in the towers along Michigan Avenue.
The coffee is Passion House, roasted in Chicago, poured as drip, cold brew and espresso drinks.

Getting to Gotham Magnificent Mile
- Transit
- Red Line to Chicago (at State Street), about a six-minute walk. The #66 Chicago bus runs a block north on Chicago Avenue, and several bus routes run along Michigan Avenue, half a block west.
- Parking
- Street parking in Streeterville is scarce. There are public garages on the surrounding blocks; if you're visiting the hospital, Northwestern Medicine's visitor garages are a block or two east.
- Seating and pickup
- Booths and tables inside under the tin ceiling. Order at the counter, or order online and pick up.
- Delivery
- Delivery reaches about four miles from the shop, enough for most of downtown. Pick delivery at checkout and enter your address, hotel or office to confirm.

Streeterville catering means hospital departments, hotel breakfasts and morning meetings in the towers off Michigan Avenue. Order platters online up to 60 days ahead; for a crowd, place it at least a day before.
