Breakfast in Printer's Row
Our South Loop shop is at 521 S Dearborn St, where the Loop gives way to the old printing-house lofts of Printer's Row. To the north are the courthouses and the LaSalle Street financial offices; a few blocks east are Columbia College Chicago, Roosevelt University and Grant Park.
That makes it a breakfast-meeting shop. We open at 7 a.m. and close at 1 p.m., earlier than our other Chicago shops, so mornings are busy with people on their way to class, court or the office, and with neighbors from the lofts down the block.
There's plenty of seating inside, plus a smaller café area for anyone who wants to set up with a laptop. On weekends the full bar is open, with TVs. When it's warm, the patio is right out front on Dearborn.

Getting to Gotham South Loop
- Transit
- Red Line to Harrison, about three minutes away, or Blue Line to LaSalle (at Congress), about the same. The Loop 'L' stop at Harold Washington Library–State/Van Buren and Metra's LaSalle Street Station are each about five minutes on foot.
- Parking
- Printer's Row has metered street parking and paid garages nearby. It's a short walk from the train for most people, so leave the car if you can.
- Seating and pickup
- Seats inside, a smaller café area if you're working on a laptop, and a patio right out front. On weekends the full bar is open, with TVs. Order online ahead to skip the wait.
- Delivery
- Delivery reaches about four miles from Dearborn and Congress, which covers the Loop and the near South Side. Select delivery when you check out, then add your address to see if you're in range.

South Loop catering is built for early meetings: law offices, courthouse teams, university departments and the conference rooms along LaSalle Street. Because the shop closes at 1 p.m., schedule ahead online, up to 60 days out, and at least a day early for large orders.

- The Sandwich Platter and the Bagel and Cream Cheese Platter each serve 9 (18 halves, wrapped and sliced).
